The first book from Millbridge Press
Luna’s
Lovely Life
A gentle children’s picture book about rescue, family, love and remembering.
Based on a true story, the book follows Luna from her first home on Gran Canaria to a life filled with friendship, adventure and unconditional love.
The story
From island puppy to cherished companion
When John and Adam first see Luna’s photograph in a local newspaper, they know that she is meant to become part of their family. Soon she is exploring the island, riding in the car, playing with Bella and Tasha and bringing mischief to every day.
Later, the whole family moves to England. Luna swaps warm island paths for green fields, streams, snow and muddy walks — without losing any of her curiosity or unmistakable character.
As Luna grows older, the story becomes a tender exploration of goodbye and remembrance. Its message is simple: a beloved animal may leave our sight, but never leaves the life and love we shared.
